I developed this [sanitized] project process map using draw.io to create a way to differentiate between project and operational tasks and quickly visualize major processes and milestones within a multi-phase project . This map was developed to help new employees understand how all of the subtasks in the project plan fit together with major milestones, especially when tasks from different processes are performed concurrently. Arrows are positioned to show finish to start, start to start, or finish to finish relationships between major milestones.
Each major process and milestone is further divided into tasks and subtasks. Smartsheet is used to link each task to assigned individuals, deadlines, and a Gantt chart to track progress throughout the project. This map is linked within Smartsheet to provide quick access to the "big picture".
